Solarsoft Adds Manufacturing Execution Intelligence to Their Portfolio

Vancouver, BC June 16, 2010  Solarsoft Business Systems, a leading provider of business software solutions for manufacturers, distributors and wholesale suppliers worldwide, announced today that it has acquired Informance International Inc., the Northbrook, Illinois based specialist in Enterprise Manufacturing Intelligence (EMI) systems.  Solarsoft’s Packaging Systems division is a leader in specialized business systems for the packaging manufacturing industry worldwide.

 

Informance software gives managers a clear view of performance across their manufacturing operations.  The software aggregates production information and presents actionable intelligence to decision-makers tracking key metrics such as Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), yield and waste. Informance is proud to serve a broad client base including blue-chip customers Unilever, Cargill and Merck.
